# Welcome

The Fraudcheck Commercial Service API provides fraud prevention, compliance, and business verification checks for South African commercial entities.

Use it to verify businesses before onboarding, screen companies and their principals against watchlists and adverse databases, retrieve ownership and property records, and assess commercial creditworthiness - all through a single REST API.
